1. Payment is expected in full at time of visit and when services are rendered. We do NOT have payment installment plan options.
2. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Debit-Visa, Debit-Mastercard) and debit cards. We do NOT accept cheques or AMEX (No American Express). We prefer not to accept cash as we don't keep cash on hand so we cannot provide change (if paying with cash - it must be exact amount or any change is applied as a credit to account). For card payments we can take payment at the machine in person in-clinic or at door (tap/insert/swipe) or payment over the phone.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Derry Heights Animal Hospital understands this and recommends you consider making some special arrangements through a personal savings account/plan for your pet, borrowing from a friend or family, or through a service like PETCARD or MEDICARD which specializes in veterinary financing that will allow you to break down your payments into monthly installments over terms of 6 months to 5 years. Another popular option for your family and pet is insurance coverage. After enrollment in a pet insurance plan, and after paying for your veterinary services, you submit a claim with invoice to pet insurance company and then they pay you back any eligible amount that is covered under the plan.
